Sandwich Dome is the large mountain mass that fills the background of the photo. Dog Cove is on the southern shore of Squam Lake. In the center mid-ground is Dinsmore Mt and the ridge to its right leads to the summit of Mt Israel, which is partly hidden by trees here. To the left are the northernmost mountains of the Squam Range. Note the boat at the right - it is part of the Squam Lake tour business, showing customers the scenic sites of the lake.
