Looking northerly across Center Harbor Neck from Wister Point (Chamberlain-Reynolds Memorial Forest) towards the northerly half of the Squam Range. Morgan & Percival are the range's 2 most-climbed mountains, both offering great views. Doublehead also has great views, while views from Squam Mt are more limited. The Crawford-Ridgepole Trail runs across almost the entire spine of the range, with good views from most of the summits. The 2 Rattlesnakes, East and West, offer fine views for small effort. The steep ledges of W. Rattlesnake offer the best views of the 2 and is the most popular hiking destination of the Squam Lakes area.
