A veerie is a thrush with a striking song that is a descending spiral of flute-like tones. Veerie Cove is the inverted v-shaped cove left of center. To its left is Algonquin Point. Below it is the larger Bennett Cove. In the mid-distance at the right is Mt Livermore. Photo taken from the very steep cliffs at the popular outlook on W Rattlesnake Mt.
