Faraway Mt (2782'), on the right, and Mt Roberts (2582'), to its left, are the 2nd and 4th highest named mountains of the Ossipee Range. The summits are part of the Castle in the Clouds property and the Castle trail system will lead you to excellent views at the top of each. The photo was taken at a parking site at the Castle - it shows part of the Castle grounds that were once made into a 9-hole golf course for Tom Plant, the 'eccentric' millionaire who created the estate in the early 1900's. The area a little behind and to the right of where the shot was taken was once his tennis court and the site of the 1st tee.
