A view down into Shannon Brook gorge from its exceptionally high eastern bank, which stands about 100 feet above the brook. At the back is part of Bridal Veil Falls as it drops 40 feet into the gorge below and makes a sharp left turn before resuming its course. In 200 yards more the brook will drop another 50 ft over Falls of Song into a smaller gorge.
