Rand Mt, in New Durham, has a large set of cliffs on its southwest side that provide fine views of the local area, including Merrymeeting Lake and mountains to the south and west. This is a view of 2 neighboring peaks, Perkins on the left and Jesse, with a house on its summit, at the right. Between them is a little notch thru which passes the Kings Highway, connecting Middleton to Wolfeboro. Jesse is a lakeside mountain, whose westerly slope comes down to the eastern shore of Merrymeeting Lake.
