Hedgehog Mt is a small peak, just a little taller than Mt Belknap, but it is strategically located in an intervale a couple of miles south of the Kancamagus Highway, where it is able to provide excellent views in all directions. This photo was taken from a low knob of the mountain called Allens Ledge. From the summit some of the more notable peaks (Washington, Carter Dome, etc) show up much better than they do here, where only small slivers of the tops are viewable.
