On the horizon at the left we see the long, rather flat summit of Piper Mt, ending with the large area of ledge at the southern (left) end. To the right on the horizon, partially hidden by trees in the foreground, is the summit of Mt Belknap, with its radio and fire towers barely showing in the distance. In the immediate foreground is one of the open ledgy spots that are found intermittantly along the trail which crosses the western slope of Mack Ridge, providing several fine views to the W and NW, of which this photo is an example.
