Saturday i captured this Amphibian car crusing down Alton Bay, no traffic and the fish were biting.

We saw this car headed down 28A and wondered if he was going to take it out in Alton Bay. Kinda surprised to see it as the wind was up just a bit and these aren't known for their seaworthiness. A friend and I had considered getting one 'just for kicks' but the prices they command(ed) are rather high !

Mee-n-Mac,it was in out a couple of times ,wipers on full,it was out about 20 minutes. An unusal sight to see at the Bay

It can't be too bad, these have been seen in New York City Harbor!



Before I joined the US Navy, I turned wrenches at a private business.



One of my "victims" was an Amphicar. I was told by the owner not to put too much grease into the tie-rod rubber fittings. Y'know those fitting blow up like a balloon!
