Lee Mt is the small mountain on which Lucknow (aka Castle in the Clouds) was built - you can see it, and its carriage house below it, near the center of the photo. From Saunders Bay it is seen in miniature, even with telephoto assist. The background shows the high ridge of the Ossipees, with Faraway Mt at the left - the high ridge joins Mt Roberts at the west to Sentinel Mt at the east, with Mt Shaw towering up at the center - (the view seen from most spots on Winnipesaukee) and it contains the highest peaks of the Ossipee Range, providing a grand backdrop from which to enjoy the remarkable scenery of our area.
