A very busy Saturday afternoon at the Weirs in 1920's. The boat in the center, "Wild Oats", was powered by a Liberty V-12 and was a stepped hull. Originally made by Chris-Craft, they stripped all markings off the boat because it didn't run well and Jim Irwin ended up buying it.

That floatplane might be the Travel Air 2000 seen elsewhere on the forum. I'll have to ask my Dad—whose Dad garaged it back then (wings removed) in Massachusetts!



The topsides of the Travel Air 2000 wings were painted orange.
