Yup I've seen those.. Gorgeous engine.... Why not add a whipple and surface drive while we are at it?

looks like a tight fit infront of the engine. moddify theseat a lil for the blower? or was it like that when you bought it? good luck in your replacement and happy boating

The Blower was on it when I bought it and yes it had been modified. the blower is off now and I will be getting that repaired. You would believe the amount of room there is now to get in there to work on her.

I just found out that the boat I test drove that made me fall in love with mine is up for sale!.. Exact same boat and year. Only difference is it has twin 350 small blocks. Trust me when I say I would have jumped on this if it were up for sale last year.

It is one of only two 28 Active Thunders ever built. If you like mine and want the info. PM me.

For a boat your size and that beam, I'm positive I'd rather have a 525 single than twin 350's. Do you mean an AT28 with twins OCD? Because the 28 Savage is an active design now, until they go to a 29.

Yes that is a 1999 Active Thunder 28 Savage.. Same as mine with twin small blocks. It runs awesome... The beam is fine.

He will make the 28's if asked but I hear the molds are forsale as well.

As I have no tow vehicle, I'd probably have to include something in the total for that as well for that type of boat.

Overall, I'd be happier in a big cuddy like the 275 Chap. (again up for sale as a very lightly used boat) . I like to cruise around, overnight, that sort of thing.

No Whipple; remember, engine longevity is the goal!! Besides, that Mercruiser 1075 already has 2 twin-screw superchargers on it; three would be overkill!! Now, about the surface piercing drive?? Definitely a plus to have!! If I could afford it, I'd have an Arneson surface drive on my Baja! Everything I've read says a surface drive really delivers when it comes to fuel savings and adding to your top end speed!
