There were just three sales on Lake Winnipesaukee in February, 2017 but all were over the million-dollar mark. The average sales price came in at $1,525,533 with a median price point of $1,250,000. In February of 2016, there were six sales at an average price of $1,102,833 with a median of $813,500. A series of lawsuits have been filed in Belknap County over the disputed ownership of a tool box containing two gold bars with an estimated value of over $1 million. The cases are expected to be heard sometime early this Spring unless a settlement can be reached. Disclosure of the names of those involved are being withheld for obvious reasons.

We finished the year off on Winnipesaukee with fourteen waterfront sales at an average price of $1,737,750 and a median price point of $1,261,250. That is less than the nineteen transactions posted last December, but it was enough to keep us on track for a little better year overall than 2015.
