McD you piqued my interest and with a little resaerch of the Belknap Registry records I was able to confirm the Chanticleer was right next to (East of) the Broadview Condo's. The street is Chanticleer Shores and it is the Chanticleer Shores Association. They started out as the Chanticleer Motor Inn. It also appears that condo type ownership started in the early to mid 60's. If you go there you will see some of these cottages still exist today. Just Sold:
The cottages in this photo are just like they looked when I worked at the Chanticleer Inn in the late 1950's. The old Belknap Point railroad station was located just a few feet to the right of this photo.
