Default Wonderful Forum Pics

I just wanted to thank all the contributors to this, the best forum on the web- and the best website on the web!--- for their wonderful pictures during the year. I only get to the lake once or twice during a year ( if I'm lucky) and these pics do so remind me of the warmest place in my heart. ( er- next to my wife!) I am now retired and spent many good summers at the lake. Used to stay with the Steiners, who owned Latch Key Lodge in the early 60's. -- anybody remember them?? The place is still there. The original lodge is still on the water in Merideth Bay -- and the cabins have been turned into condos. Mr. Steiner had a really " cool" gatrage with old Mobil Gas signs and the like. I believe it is still there and in place. Thanks again- everyone- for the memories and the wonderful pictures.!

So post a picture of it today and if you or anyone else have any old photos of the Latch Key I know everyone would enjoy to see them too.

Join in on the fun. That is what it is all about.

Default Wish I had a picture

Thanks, Just Sold-- yeah- If only I could find a picture! I'll keep looking, though, and post it as soon as I find one. It was off Wagon Wheel Road in Merideth if anyone is in that area.

Thumbs up More pictures please

I love all the pictures but I wish there were more beach pictures. I enjoy viewing the latest bikini-wear popular around the lake area. I'm too busy watching out for speeding boats to look at the beaches as I boat by them myself.

Where are all the pictures from the forum fest that people promised to post but didn't?

The problem is that the good bikinis are on the speeding boats which are just going too fast to photograph properly. Well that and the reflections from the gold chains gives the auto-exposure algorithms a real hissy fit. This is the little known but true reason for people pushing a 45 mph speed limit !
