Hi R-Gal!

I only fished for about 1 1/2 hours but was able to land 1 decent salmon and 1 small rainbow trout. I lost a nice laker near the boat so I can't count him even though I release them all.

When it's that close to the boat I always called it the intentional SDL (short distance release). The long distance release is when you have it on for a few seconds and lose it without really getting a good look at it. But, by the feel of it, you know it probably would have challenged for a State Record so that's what you tell your buddies the next day over a few beers.
