Just had dinner at Mame's
The wife took me out for my Birthday.
So, we had a great dinner at Mame's tonight. Never been before. Nice ambiance. The food was very good. Drinks were great. No watered down taste like some. Prime rib was very tasty and the Strawberry shortcake, with vanilla ice cream was a good size. Nicole was our server and she was very nice. Best thing was our food came out fairly quickly. All in all we wondered why we had never gone before, but we certainly knew we would be back again. |

Mame's
My husband and I went to Mame's for the first time yesterday. Located in a house from the 1800's, it is a decor I enjoy. We loved all of it. In fact, my husband hasn't stopped talking about how much he enjoyed his dinner. We'll definitely be back.

We used to like Mame's. We always went by boat from Winter Harbor...number of times, for lunch and dinner.. Meals and service always good. The last time we went (dinner) there was a "Screecher", and entourage, that was unresponsive.
NOTE: A Screecher is a child whose parents have not yet figured out..or more likely don't care..that their new born is not yet ready for the UpScale dinner restaurant scene. NB |

I, too, like Mame's. I enjoy sitting upstairs in bar - Allison and Sue are great bartenders. Always attentive and never leave your glass empty.
On the regular dinner menu, I find it a tad overpriced for what you get, but they have a decent "bar" menu (sandwiches, burgers, etc). They have a good $10 meal menu which, I believe, is available in the off-season months. For what it's worth, I don't really blame the establishment for an unruly child. What can they do about it? |

Mame's
I've gone to Mame's for more years than I care to admit and never had a bad meal.
