Saturday's rain caused this normally quiet brook on the western slope of Suncook Mt in the Belknaps to run with some vigor yesterday. A long series of cascades created this picturesque scene as the water crashed down over exposed ledge toward Moulton Brook, which flows through Moulton Valley, the longest, deepest and wildest valley of the Belknap Range.
