This view can be seen when hiking the Mt Roberts Trail up Roberts Ridge on the southern side of the mountain. It provides a broad vista from the Belknaps and Winnipesaukee at the left to Red Hill and the Squam Range at the right. Mt Kearsarge is the large mountain in the distance on the horizon at the center. In the middle of the photo is an opening with fields and buildings - this is the Ledgewood Farm (photo taken from the base of a large cliff face which provides part of the name for the farm), which has an interesting history and is still very active, producing vegetable products for the local market. The following photo offers a more detailed look at the farm.
