Rock in a tree on the north side of Rte11, just east of the western end of 11D road that goes along Alton Bay. It is about half way between the 40 MPH sign and the 11D intersection sign, at or slightly above eye level, in the crook of a branch. Dad always said "hello rock" driving by. rock was tossed into the tree when they were blasting that section of Rt 11.
