An early morning photo on a cool fall day from the top of Mt Major. Atmospheric conditions are ideal to create a large fog bank that covers Winnipesaukee. At the far right is Copple Crown Mt. To its left and a little in front, sticking up out of the fog, is Longstack Mt, and in front of that, like islands in the sea, are Rines Hill and Derby Mt of Black Point. A little left of center are small protrusions thru the fog that may be parts of Rattlesnake Island, and, also left of center, back on the horizon is the very faint image of the Ossipees.
