We first saw these loons when they were about a hundred yards away. I was able to call them in to less than 100 feet.

You speak loon too? My Indian name could be, She Who Talks to Loons.

I have a special slide whistle to engage them. Great fun, though the dogs tend to get a bit barky. My sister's name could be, She Who Talks to Owls. Each year Screech Owls inhabit her Texas yard.
