During the late 1800's through the very early 1900's, the Sunset Point outlook at Ossipee Park (now Castle in the Clouds) was a well-known destination for summer tourists from the east coast cities. Both carriage and auto traffic could drive right to the site - today the road is no longer passable and the viewsite is somewhat overgrown. However, it can still be an inspiring vista.
