This Boat House is where Nat Goodhue's Swallow used to be kept. Is Windward Harbor Winter Harbor?

I don't know if the bay is officially called "Winward Harbor", but it's now part of a condo association in Moultonboro called "Winward Harbor" or "Windward Shores".

It is not in Winter Harbor, but rather in the cove behind Wallace Island (FL 54), east of Salmon Meadow Cove and west of Kona Farm.

It's really a awesome structure to see in person.

This boathouse was the subject of a few Lakes Region Antique Boat Show posters too:

Thanks for the links. You saved me the trouble of finding this Boat House. It was on my list of things to shoot this summer! At some point there will be an historic thread about the Swallow.

Winward Harbor doesn't show up on any of my maps. The navigation maps are still on the boat, so I can't check those. Not much longer now!

Care to share any locations of other unique boathouses/sights?

Can't wait for the thread on the Swallow!

That structure wouldn't be permitted today—a real view-blocker.

Is it
"Common Sense" isn't.
