In search of vantage points from which to enjoy the foliage, hikers are flocking now to four of the finest outlooks of the Lakes Region which are seen here: Bald Knob, on the far left, Black Snout just left of center, Mt Shaw in the center and Mt Flagg on the right.

Now I've got to see if dcr has a photo taken from Copps Hill in Tuftonboro. (No clear-cutting required, and an even more spectacular view of the Ossipees—IMHO).
