This is a newspaper article I clipped when I was a kid.
"ALTERATIONS - The Mount Washington cruise ship that tours Lake Winnipesaukee in the summer was cut in half and separated early yesterday morning. The 205-foot vessel will have (a) 24-foot prefabricated section added to its length. The work started last week and is to be completed by spring."
