Saw these sail boats on Lily Pond today, had to stop and take a closer look!
Found out that they were radio controlled with electric powered motors.

T - I love watching those little sailboats! I still miss our dear friend Loren Percy who sailed on Lily Pond with that group. I also enjoyed the movie - it too reminded me of Loren, because he indeed had Love! Be well, my friend.

Thank you, Pepper!

I had no idea about your association with this group. Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, Loren.

I wanted to take a photo of the four very proud, elder gentlemen, at the controls of these beautiful crafts,... They were having such a wonderful time together, I thought, I will catch them again, some time this summer.

From a friend, thanks again. T

Just to clarify. The electric motors on adjust the sails and the rudders. No power is used to make the boats move. Just like a real sailboat.

FYI the Laconia Model Yacht Club races every Saturday 9am to Noon in season, weather permitting.
