E Quarry has a heavily forested summit, but a rocky outcrop provides this view of Winnipesaukee and Mt Major. The west side of this mountain had an active quarry in the late 1800's, which sent stone products as far as Boston. Laconia once had some cobblestone streets paved from stone quarried here. A hiking trail called The Quarry Trail now goes past the abandoned quarry site.
