This falls is found at the base of the western slope of Straightback Mt in the Belknap Range. It is the tallest falls in the range and creates a din that can be heard throughout the valley in which it's located. However, it's on a seasonal brook, so it's heard only during spring runoff or after long periods of heavy rains.
