This shot is a "flash back" to the days on the lake when you could beach your boat on virtually any island on the lake to have a picnic, swim and/or camp overnight. This photo is taken at one of our favorite places to go and picnic/swim. Our family used at call it "Bare Bottom Beach" because swim suits were strictly optional equipment for the afternoon swim. The shot is actually taken on Dow Island during the summer of 1954.
