Reggy took this photo near Martel's Boat House, Lake Winnisquam. He told me today, 1-30-04, that there were three of these very beautiful birds that must have nested in the area. "Thank you Don".

Yes, this photo was taken right here in the Lakes region by a very dear friend of mine and all whom know him that has battled through cancer. He is a retired power and telephone lineman that has worked his entire life keeping us all on the line. He crewed on and was involved with the running of many of the power and telephone cables out to the Islands on Lake Winnipesaukee. I have been trying to get him to start his own photo album here But he is from the old school, so to speak, no computer and such, I will get the info that you reqwest......Reginald, is the best!

PS........ 1-30-04 Thank you Rattlesnake Gal and Lakegirl, I would love to post a photo album here for Reginald, he has a wonderful treasure chest of photos that he has taken here since his retirement. Incredable photos of wildlife to lighthouses out on the coast. I will see what I can do. "I just had to share this photo with you".

Thank you all.

I will go away now!

Lakegirl, keep up the good work, your photos are fantastic!!!

About your comment, "So photogenic"!!!

Back when I first viewed Reginald's wildlife photos, I thought that he must be some sort of a Tarzan type, in that, the way his subjects seemed to pose for him. I have since learned that one of Reginald's many secrets is, that he has the patience of a saint, we can all appreciate and learn from him.

Thank you again,
