We were having dinner at the Lyons Den Restaurant, when sirens sounded and red lights flashed as a continuous line of fire trucks pumped water from the lake. A beautiful new house was on fire on Belknap Point Road, in Gilford. The photo is from the next morning. Everybody present felt terrible.
