A telephoto shot from Rand Mt to Mt Jesse. The house is facing generally NW, providing it a great view of Merrymeeting Lake and vicinity. Caverly Mt, a near neighbor, blocks much of the view of Winnipesaukee. It does provide excellent views of most of the well known peaks of the White Mountains and can see east all the way to the Atlantic. Hikers atop Mt Major and many other local mountains can see this house quite clearly, tho it is small enough to require binoculars if the distance is really long.
