A view over a series of ridges, from the Alton Mt Rd on Pine Mt across Alton Bay (over Echo Pt), to: 1st- a recently built house on Hardhead Hill (separates Chestnut Cove from Roberts Cove) - 3.5 mi; 2nd - slightly to the left can be seen the Wolfeboro water tower, near the high school and golf course, beside Rte 28 leading into Wolfeboro village - 7.5 mi; 3d - then, slightly upward and to the right, are several fields on the SW slope of Whiteface Mt in Wolfeboro - 12.5 mi; 4th - on the horizon at the upper left is Green Mt in Effingham - 22.5 mi.
