Would this be the place that is mentioned on Garwood's history page?
"In 1984 the building was converted into a restaurant named Aw Shucks!, starting a history of dining on the shores of Wolfeboro Bay. Rumors and the Pirates Den followed in the 1990?s, and Garwoods Restaurant and Pub opened in June, 2001."

The Pirates Den that I am familiar with was located at the end of Lake Street in Wolfeboro. It was a restaurant/nightclub that had a great Dixieland Band. Somewhere I have an album that was cut there around 1965 or 66, on Woodshed Records. It was accessable by water and unfortunately there was a serious boating accident involving restaurant patrons. I believe it was known as the Brightwaters Inn, at one time, and was a guesthouse prior to that. I have seen pictures of the guesthouse on the forum, but could not find them. (McDude may have posted them?)
