The picture was taken in the 1920's with the Irwin owned and operated Winnipesaukee Gardens in the background. The boats are likely powered by "Fronty-Ford" engines that were custom built for boats. These engines were Model T engines tricked out by the Chevrolet brothers with new cylinder heads. (The brothers sold their name and car company to GM in 1917 but were still 'messing around with cars and engines.)
