An advertisement from the 1938 Lakes Region Association's Where to Guide. The Aquedoctan Indian Village was located at the corner of White Oaks Road and Weirs Boulevard. The ad claimed that the trading post was operated by a real Indian chief! Yeah, right. Could this have been the forerunner to Paugus Bay Sporting Goods, still located on Weirs Bouleveard in this approximate location?
