This bird stayed mostly in the grass or on the rocks. The Brown Headed Cow Bird, has black beak and forehead with a glossy brown head, and a shiny black body.

They are also a “brood parasite.” A female cowbird makes no nest of her own, but instead lays her eggs in the nests of other bird species, who then raise the young cowbirds. Lazy bums!
