A friend of ours inadvertently drove his snowmobile into one and got stuck. He had to get up on the seat of his sled to keep dry. A few of us always carried tow ropes in our sleds, tied them to the front of the ski's and pulled him out. Just one of the reasons not to go out onto the ice alone!
