Hobbs Landing, pictured here in 1908 was at the present site of the town docks. Part of the Anne Inn, a hotel that extended from South Main St. to the water's edge is visible in the background.

I've seen a McD postcard of Wolfeboro that has a sign, "Dobb's Inn". A predecessor to "Anne's Inn", perhaps?
