A hiking friend of mine, who is an avid amateur photographer, asked me to intoduce him to Whiteface Mt, so yesterday we visited several of the excellent view spots from Whiteface. On our way to the views, we briefly explored the short spur path to the base of the cliffs, and while I was trying to get a better picture of them, he, unbeknownst to me, was taking a photo of me taking a photo. I discovered the fact later that evening - tho I didn't think of it at the time, having him in the picture does provide the human perspective necessary for a photo to really emphacize the largeness and ruggedness of these cliffs.
