People typically view the Belknaps from some angle other than from the west. Cotton Hill, nearly 3 miles west of Piper Mt, is in Gilford. Here we see the summits and western slopes of Rowe, Gunstock, Belknap, Piper and Whiteface Mts, the westernmost mountains of the Belknap Range. You can see some of the homes at the top of LIberty Hill if you look just below the right shoulder of Rowe.
