Great postcard! There is a boathouse in the background, that is located right over the stack of the steamer. It belonged to my family from 1952 -1984. We purchased it from the Cram family, who still live in the area. The railing and flagpole belong to the boathouse behind ours, and I believe that their camp is still owned by the same family. Our boathouse was unique, because it was built parallel with the shoreline. Most docks/boathouses are built at 90 degrees to the shore. It did make for some interesting landings!
