on the Lakeshore Railroad. This station was moved across the street (as Rose has pointed out) and after an additon is now utilized as a rental cottage. It is right on Rt. 11 and can be seen here....

Cool picture...it gives me a good idea of where the station (known by me as the Honeymoon cottage) used to be. You wouldn't happen to have more information about the picture, such as the date or who the woman in the photo might be?

Rose: It was an e-bay item and this was the only description....This newer photo postcard is of the Boston & Maine Railroad station at Ames (a cottage at Ames Farm Inn), Gilford, NH, on the Lakeshore/Lakeport line. It was produced between the 1950's-1990's.

The tracks were ripped up in the 1930s so I'm not sure that this e-bay description is correct.
