A view of the very steep southerly slope of the east summit of Grant Peak in the northeast portion of the Ossipee Range. Shot taken this fall from the Ossipee Mountain Road in Ossipee, about 1 mile west of the location of the Indian Mound Golf Course on Rt 16. Soil clings precariously to slopes this steep, so note the many ledges and rockfalls scattered across this side of the mountain.
