This is a picture of the Mount's grounding that I had not seen. It looks like she was just about to come off the ledge. The paddles are thrashing and there is clearly a strain on the hawser to the two steamers off her stern, one of which is the Gov. Endicott, I believe. Also, there is a tug up under her counter, and someone looking off the bow, like they were watching for movement. No wash from the tug or steamers though!
