Scar Ridge is the mountain in the far background at left center - it is located a little south of the Kancamagus Highway and a little east of Loon Mt, which sports a ski area near the town of Lincoln. At the right center is the main peak of Mt Osceola, and to its right and further in the background is the peak of Mt Lafayette (at Pinkham Notch), NH's 2nd highest mountain, peeking up over the ridge connecting Osceola and E. Osceola, which does not quite make it into the picture.
