Here we see a side view of one of the nature-made columns, long ago separated from the original rock mass into an individual rock that now has a man-made look about it, as if it had been fashioned in a stone quarry into something useful as a gate post, or a boundary marker, etc. This column is heptagonal, or 7-sided, and measures about 3 ft tall and about a foot across. It is a fractured piece of what probably was a much larger column originally, perhaps up to 50 or more ft long.
