Residents of Alton (and the wind) (maybe related, come to think of it ) have done our part and got the ice down the bay past where the Mount Docks. It could come in and go out without getting into any ice. There is just a little ice left on the east side of the bay from abeam the two markers into Downings, all blown there by the wind.

That ice sure looks black & punky ... and sounds a bit "Porky" might I add. "That's all" I have to say
