IIRC, this is a Marriott boat. He told me the "Dauntless" has three (?) Ford 350CID engines. At full speed, it has a sound that can't be mistaken for any other boat. It sounds like an organ on steroids!
It belongs to a large group of large wooden boats known as "commuter-boats", most often seen in the vicinity of Long Island Sound.
